This is such a perfect analogy. I've spent the last 5 years fixing up my mother's place and all of this rings true. Every year there are less and less adversaries to cull, and I gain more more knowledge of the "battlefield." It's nice when it finally starts to pay off.

I honestly don't know what good it will do, but I called my Senators and Rep and demanded that they do something. Block funding, demand hearings, whatever is possible. They're stealing our land and I'm furious, and it's too early in the morning to be furious.
