The color for these guys was red and I didn’t want to just make their hair or skin red. So I made their hair AND skin red (with sunburn). Been fiddling around with some camo for art in the rulebook for my #tabletop game WAR GRID. This polished chrome is to appear as twinkling stars in the distance. By the time you can tell they aren’t, it’s too late. I’m bad at nodes but this should look dynamic in still renders. #blender3d #mecha

Last one for now. I wanted to make a heavy MAC with "rubber hose" arms. It's strong, dexterous arms that give it a bonus in melee combat and allow it to carry some of the heaviest weapons available. This brings the MAC count for my #tabletop game WAR GRID to 20! #mecha #blender3d #digitalart

Variants! The Kraken uses its fiber optic drones to communicate via lasers with allies to transfer targeting data amongst the entire team in real time. The MAC II is the combat version of the (now ancient) mining rig. Has a bit more armor and a fixed weapon. #tabletop #mecha #blender3d #digitalart
