The fact the Kyubey never lies, just answers their questions honestly and immediately, is what really made me dislike Madoka. In a magical girl show the least plausible thing was that these girls wouldn't ask more questions!!!
This is extremely dumb, no one would say this about nuclear bombs or bioweapons or mass anti-matter generation. A core difference between myself and others here is that I think the AI will be EXTREMELY POWERFUL and others seem to be imaging something much weaker.
Whoever was doing character designs for Utena needed to have a little more restraint, goes so hard tying to make the dudes handsome that they end up looking ugly and kinda deformed. It's very frame by frame but anytime they make those chins a liiitle bit more pointy than normal the result is yuck
