I’ve written silly poetry my whole life. As I got older I liked the idea of leaving poems in places for strangers to find. In pockets of donated clothing, store shelves… Then I had 4 granddaughters and mercy me. I couldn’t stop.
My 2nd Granddaughter of the 2 my husband and I raised came and asked my husband and I to write I Love You on a piece of paper. She told us that when she turned 18 she was getting a tattoo. I never thought she would. She’s afraid of needles. She came home the other day with this! Be still my heart.
Sweet little wild cat I’ve been feeding the past year. They will let me give them a few skritches but will under no circumstances let me lift them up.
