Impromptu summertime hamburger night with some of our favourite neighbours. We may need a bigger garage…
Can't omit mention of the daily coffee and baked goods, spa time, karaoke, and road trips with the inimitable @jessicalfarrell.bsky.social, whose company truly made the trip. /FIN
The subject matter lands differently when you are hearing the stories and perspectives of Indigenous leaders themselves. Or when class is held next to the most spectacular snow-covered lake. /4
I had never been to the North and was awestruck by its natural beauty and uninterrupted daylight. 2/
Great weather for #KidicalMass organized thanks to @whoalansi.bsky.social
BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!! New bollards spotted in Calgary! @worldbollardassoc.bsky.social
Cities like Edmonton that are truly stepping up should be pissed that the feds caved on Calgary. The HAF was "intentionally designed to incentivize the most ambitious housing reforms and reward municipalities that agree to implement them."
Ok speaking of infantilizing, I’m doing a 3-week law course in the UK this summer, and I had to sit through a 1.5 hour workshop on how to deal with basic travel scenarios using this worksheet.
This was a motion to exempt parcels from repeal that were already designated as H-GO under existing approved LAPs. Sorry, no dice
Oh I had that same moment of discord when I read @cailynn.bsky.social‘s G&M op ed a few months ago
What if we made her the leader of the party instead? Or better yet, a cast member of Heated Rivalry? Hudson is 100% prime minister material.
I can't imagine how much this would have cost. Talk about throwing good money after bad...
I don't go on the other site anymore but was chuffed to learn that Cllr. McLean saw my bit on CityNews last night. I have so many questions about how he thinks property taxes work...
Got a text message from @klaszus.bsky.social this morning Anyone else up for a Power Broker book club?
Just rocked up to class to find this beauty parked in my spot. Always a joy to see cool bikes out in the wild.
Most of Calgary in full denial of this, including those who make decisions about how are city grows, EVEN THOUGH we have decades of policy direction that sprawl keeps our taxes high, strains our infrastructure, compromises public health and so on and so forth
