Saw a cicada mid molt yesterday. I know it's common as heck some years, but he's the only cicada I've spied this year. Might be confused.

The haze is crazy in Pittsburgh today. We've had smoke blow in from Canadian wildfires before, but nothing like this. Came in suddenly between 12 and 1 like a sheet of white. Everything is overcast, like a deep fog, but everything smells like burning.
