oh FUCK OFF DELIVEROO. It drives me *nuts* when they do this - it always means cold food
Does anyone ever actually use the Dangleway? I went on it once for a PR thing not long after it opened: it was chucking it down with rain and we couldn't see anything at all of the view
Also, this: an awful lot of the uncertainty around employment is being blamed on AI. I had a robust conversation about this with a Five Live producer recently who wanted to hear about the "AI jobspocalypse" and wasn't keen on being told that actually, it's about the post-Covid jobs shakeout, etc.
Brompton Cemetery has a great tool that shows you where a grave is. She's here; I'll have a look at the grave next time I pop in to the cemetery
Just looked in the cemetery records and there are three Sarah Thornes, but none who died (per Wikipedia) in 1899. So either she's not buried there (there's no citation for that in the Wiki piece) or the date of her death is wrong in that piece
It would be really nice if the Greens had a leader who didn't just spout half-baked populist twattery and instead offered some thoughtful, useful critiques. This is sixth-form stuff from Polanski
I honestly can't think of anything more corrosive of the soul than being an "influencer" and posting inane drivel about deodorants on your Insta for a living.
this always makes me grind my teeth in a review of a Windows laptop: Mac laptops are not Windows rivals! It's a different ecosystem! People don't generally switch from Windows to Mac, or vice versa! @scientits.bsky.social Daphne would like to wish her Auntie Tabs a happy birthday and hopes you will be celebrating it by sharing any spare birthday ham with her
Daphne has Opinions on the lack of lap time arising from my appalling decision to be out all day and evening yesterday
Me, wearing a smart vintage dress to go to Glyndebourne Daphne: must cover smart vintage dress with extreme amounts of floof
Who are the most annoying twats on Bluesky and why is it the paywall whiners?
It is a truth universally acknowledged that an InDesign document that has thrown up zero errors when generating pdfs will suddenly throw up mysterious errors when you create the pdf for the printer 🙄 Anyway, this has now gone to the printer, hurray!

Update: Reeves is not going to stop Farage standing down, and I am here for the shade she throws
it's got this amazing stiffened linen (I think) underskirt that's also lined, so the skirt is particularly fantastic
Parcel arrived! I took a punt on this fab vintage dress to wear to my niece's graduation next week - there was a possibility that it might be a bit too snug around the waist, but it's absolutely fine. I am delighted!
