They made my old landlady an actual Sheriff! 😅 It is my proposal that all landlords should be made to dress this way, actually, so that they can be accurately identified at a distance
Settled in to watch the Dan Olson Mr Beast double bill with my love this evening, in the manner such cinema deserves
Gotta stop seeing this as descriptive and start seeing it as prescriptive
Dueling protests in Southampton today. We outnumbered the fash four-to-one, and apparently they had to bus some of theirs in from Oxfordshire of all places 😅 We stopped them from marching through Portswood and Bevois Valley and terrorising the people, and then marched through the city. No pasaran!
The BBC News homepage is just increasingly syncing up with your racist uncle's fevered brain. I think we have to syart seriously thinking about ripping up BBC News and starting again. The other parts of the corporation are I think salvageable but the News team is rotten to the core
Jay Foreman's channel officially rebranding as 'Jay and Mark' is the Habsburgs conceding the Dual Monarchy to the Hungarians for geography and urban planning YouTube. Revolutionary spring for Map Men!
If I might be forgiven for being a smidge pretentious for a moment, this popped into my head:
It's pretty obviously inspired by this shot from the epilogue of Mewtwo Returns, but we both *distinctly* remember the hat, pulled low over its face as a disguise. I've even seen fanart of it with the fedora just as I remember, so it's not even just us!
The rivers are alive! It's giving anmism 2.0, it's giving @folkhorrorrevival.bsky.social, and frankly I am very much here for it. The land breathes
Well damn, I've got one! ucrel.lancs.ac.uk/wmatrix/ukma...
I decided to play my first game of my new board game Bärenpark with the self-imposed rule that the enclosures had to be next to matching animal houses. I didn't score particularly highly, but at least my bears could play outside!
Just started learning to crochet. Obviously got a long way to go but I'm glad I finally - after a...number of attempts - managed to get my hands to do the thing more or less right!
Definitely got to be this one of me in the salon after I finally got my hair dyed blonde, which I had been wanting to do for years and years
Saw this for sale on a second hand site, and the more I look at it the funnier I find it
I really do understand the impulse here but if the criminal courts ever 'caught up' with the civil ones, that would be bloody terrifying. They have a way higher standard of evidence for a reason. Being sent to prison should never just be a 'balance of probabilities' thing
