I have to say I found CJ Cherryh as a teen because the Michael Whelen covers intrigued me I think the Cuckoo's Egg cover did it for me. If I ever *chuckle* finish my SF story and publish I'll pay whatever Whelen wants for the cover art.
Well... I have a desktop Media Store folder and a desktop Twitter Hold folder and an entire physical drive for Photos and Videos with a rat's nest of sub-directories and a tenuous gallery in ON1 and that doesn't even include the server backups... I'm waaay overdue for an overhaul of my system.
...also, there was a part of me that now has to patch and paint drywall thinking "for glub's sake, stop shooting the walls! I gotta fix that shit!" Kind of like the old Damage Control comics from Marvel where there were a bunch of folks who had to plaster over superhero's damage
Minor nit-picks: -He's got his support index on the trigger guard; which could make one pull to the side... but, he had a pretty accurate shot, so... -10 yards is good; generous, even, if it's inside a house. They had to back up to 15 for the birdshot and it still penetrated. 3/4
