🍽️ Dinner and dessert! Halibut ceviche and fresh peach crumb pie! The ceviche has garlic, tomato, red onion, some mint and cuke from our garden, along with purchased peppers, mango and cilantro. OJ and lime juice for the liquid.
Pretty sure they'd eat dirt and die from something easily curable to have this:

#Curve #BlueSkyArtShow One of the rare times the sun can look like a crescent moon. Description in ALT.
Five-lined Skink, juvenile. They lose that bright blue tail as they age, and the stripes fade to more of a 2-toned brown/tan. In breeding season, the males head turns orange. We have them around our house (SNJ), and have for many years.
Five o'clock makes for a very early #Morning but worth it to be among the first ones in the US to greet the sun along the Maine coast. It's up and at our backs on the way back to town for breakfast. #BlueSkyArtShow #EastCoastKin #shadows
You would love this event, every September in Cape May, NJ. The tiny cars parade into town from all over and line up at the state park. There's a bright red Messerschmitt in that lineup.
A rare phenomenon known as a fog bow arcs over the #edge of a salt marsh along on an unusually warm February day. #BlueSkyArtShow #EastCoastKin #weather #NationalWildlifeRefuges
A #Round wreath of Haitian steel drum art, cut out of a drum which would otherwise end up as waste. It gets hammered out, embossed and engraved, cleaned and polished while preserving the rich brown color of oxidization. It has been hanging by our front door for many years. #BlueSkyArtShow
The snowstorm has almost passed, but not without some damage to the trees lining our little dirt road. We have at least four trees down and roughly a foot of snow. I'm amazed and relieved we still have power. SNJ, 02.23.26.
These little flowers always come two by #Two. Partridgeberry, a.k.a. Twinberry, Pigeon Plum, and Running Box, is native to my part of the world. These blooms are clean white, but can be pink. #BlueSktArtShow #nativeplants #nature #photography #EastCoastKin
Two drake Harlequin Ducks taking a rest on a seaweed-covered jetty in Barnegat, NJ, from a couple of years ago. Love to watch these hardy little ducks bobbing like corks in choppy water, unfazed by rough surf. #birds #birding #EastCoastKin #photography #nature #ducks
The early morning #sunlight filters through a patch of lichens in Maine, with a little wild blueberry bush glowing bright red in the middle. #BlueSkyArtShow #EastCoastKin #Nature #Photography
