I love Art Nouveau and all things Dutch. Proud Canadian. I’m a new sailor, have a woodworking shop & make fine pens. I’m interested in many crafts, too.
Not a great picture, but it was magical to go kayaking with friends under the full moon.
Foggy twilight at the bluffs. Honestly, at times it looked like dawn instead.
We were at the sail club & stumbled upon this! It’s an annual day of amateur ham radio clubs checking their systems for 24 hrs. It’s dressed as a contest, but is an emergency- preparedness drill. These folks are with the Toronto Amateur Radio Club. They worked with Morse code, voice & digital data.
I just wrote a scathing view of the possible Billy Bishop airport expansion. What a phenomenally stupid, evil idea. Please go fill out the survey at Transport Canada!
Yesterday was a great day to go wake up the boat. We took off the tarps, then dismantled the wooden frame.
Here’s our delightful Etta. She’s difficult to photograph but she’s a real sweetie.
Foggy day at the club- but it’s much warmer & I think the birds are happier.
I’m starting a new hobby.. haven’t crocheted in many years. The wool is so pretty!
Less snow here than I expected, really. But the docks are frozen in😕.Volunteers are working hard in shifts to clear the ice from the pylons in the water.
We’re still putting the boat to bed-making a wood frame for the cover.
My husband took these- NO filters! Just an iPhone pic. At sunrise the hills looked like they were a flame!
Boats are almost completely put to bed for the winter. It was a pretty day there today
This is an awful picture of some very pretty earrings I made years ago. I wish I’d kept them - or made some for myself!
We’re getting our boat ready to be lifted out of the water for winter soon. Etta decided to snooze on the pile of boat cushions.
