Favorite game is Splatoon 3.

Best story is Final Fantasy 6 (Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a very close runner up).

Favorite art style is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Biggest personal impact is Splatoon 2 (Fire Emblem Three Houses also belongs here).

Best combat is the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series with Rebirth being the most refined thus far.

Over-hated is the original Splatoon, which got undeservedly disparaged because of the kiddie marketing that was nevertheless effective at the time and serves as nostalgic memes now.

Underrated is Fire Emblem Three Houses, which could also have been in overhated, best story, best soundtrack, AND favorite art style, I unapologetically love this game, Crimson Flower is an under-served gem and F!Edeleth is canon. lol

Overrated is Dark Souls and Souls-likes in general.

Needs a remake is Final Fantasy 6.

Criminally overlooked is Salmon Run a.k.a. Grizzco, first introduced in Splatoon 2 then refined in Splatoon 3, one of my favorite games ever.

Favorite protagonist is Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, specifically as played by Jennifer Hale.

Favorite antagonist is "Part of Me" a.k.a. Badeline from Celeste.

Best soundtrack is Chrono Cross (Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth also belongs here).

Best multiplayer is Stardew Valley.

"Not usually my thing but..." pick is Baldur's Gate 3, my first ever C R P G.

"Turn my brain off" pick is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Best with friends is Final Fantasy 14 online.

Best retro game is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Chrono Cross is also here).

Nostalgic childhood game is Secret of Mana.

Game everyone should play is Chrono Trigger.

A tier list showing all the Salmon Run stages from Splatoon 3 with the following distribution:

S Tier is Sockeye Station and Gone Fission Hydroplant.

A Tier is Bonerattle Arena.

B and C Tiers are empty.

D Tier is Jammin' Salmon Junction and Salmonid Smokeyard.

F Tier is Spawning Grounds and Marooner's Bay.
