The only thing to do at the end of a tough week is try a new veggie recipe! This is peanut tofu with coconut rice and steamed cabbage with sesame dressing. I think I slightly over salted the peanut sauce, but it's not too bad.

This year's pear harvest has rendered 3L of preserved fruit in syrup! (We bag some of the fruit on our tree and leave the rest for birds and possums but this is still our best harvest so far.)

Hey. Are you living in Australia and suffering #LongCOVID? A team at RMIT is studying the experience of LongCOVID and they are looking for participants. Your contribution could help understand the condition and generate advice for govt and health authorities. Details in flyer and alt text 👇

Our study aims to explore the impact of ongoing symptoms following COVID-19, often known as Long-COVID or post-COVID condition, in people who have not fully recovered after their initial infection.
Some people keep having symptoms for weeks or even years after a COVID-19 infection. Common symptoms include tiredness, trouble thinking clearly ("brain fog"), shortness of breath, and trouble sleeping, but there are many others.
Current understanding and support for these groups are limited. We want to understand how Long-COVID affect people over time, including changes in physical health, mood, daily activities, work, and overall quality of life.
We invite individuals who have experienced ongoing symptoms after COVID-19 for more than four weeks to complete the screening questionnaire.
If you are eligible and interested, you will be invited to complete a survey about the impacts of Long-COVID at seven time points over two years, which are as follows: Day 1 (the day you start the survey), Day 7, Month 3, Month 6, Month 12, Month 18 and Month 24. If your symptoms persist after two years, you will have the option to continue participating in the study for an additional year.
If you take part in the study, you will receive a Coles-Myer gift card (up to $100 per year) as a token of our appreciation for your valuable contribution. If you have any questions, please email longcovidstudy@rmit.edu.au.

Had a fab time at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show today with my sister, with special thanks once again to the Travellers' Aid accessibility team for making it possible for me to be there all day! ♥️ This student design by Megan Griffey of Holmesglen was one of my top picks 🌱
