We could start by covering every large parking lot with solar panels (see pic). Then slowly scale up. Solar panels have dropped in price - it’s the batteries for off grid homes that are $$$. The microgrid homes would be connected to the grid and contribute to power generation

I recommend building your own Corsi Box. All you need is a box fan, some cardboard, a glue gun, duct tape, and 4 MERV13 furnace filters. Very easy to build, lots of DIY websites to help guide you, and it’s by far the best air filter you can get!
