Hah, when you buy a ticket online it reserves your seat with a little war helmet. Looking forward to Robert Pattinson being a weird little guy & who doesn't love John Leguizamo?? And yes they're the reason I want to see this plus being into mythology.

Text above says The Odyssey. Then it shows a series of little green seat icons, for reserving your ticket for the movie with letters & numbers on them. In the 3rd row the seat that would be D 14 has a little blue Greek war helmet symbol instead.

One last time #ProjectHailMary Right now it's just me in the quiet of the theater before Noovie starts. I feel almost like I'm mourning the loss of a friend after today's viewing which is #45 in theaters for me. I will miss this being a part of my day. The best part. Thank you, Mary.

A dark blue hoodie with a NASA patch, Project Hail Mary mission patch & a PHM patch on it. The T-shirt is a grey heather with the Project Hail Mary mission patch on it in the center. And yes my socks are white with blue and yellow stripes.

A small bag of unbuttered popcorn in a red & white Cinemark bag is in front of a blank movie screen. It's almost like a toast to the magic of the cinema. Yes I have seen it 45 times in theaters , only once in IMAX, since my first viewing on April 3rd. Yes it's out on VOD but it won't be the same.

Found some hag stones at the beach & am keeping them on me should I happen to run into certain people to give to them, however they are under no obligation to accept them, which is *highly* improbable but nothing is technically impossible? Seen as a symbol of good luck, good health, protection etc.

A hag stone is held up in front of the woods with the sun shining through the topmost hole. The sky is a pale blue with some white fluffy clouds smattered about. The poster's hand is full of other hag stones they found at the beach this past month as they are good at finding them. Ideally they wish to give them to the actors in their favorite movie specifically the two main characters ( well the one main actor gets one for each in his family as I was able to find 2 of the exact same material weeks apart for him and his wife ideally and then 2 one for each of their kids). And this will probably never happen as neither the twain shall meet but it would be nice to do so. Who doesn't love a neat rock?

So commissioned a lovely artist (ItsMaybeMason on Twitter) to do an Eridsona based on hematite & they just finished it as well as letting me know that apparently James Ortiz ( the voice & main puppeteer for Rocky) saw it on their Instagram story after they posted it. I'm so happy for them!!

Yes it's out on VOD to rent/buy but nothing beats seeing it on the big screen, this broke my streak, & also, since I feel that it's the best part of my day, I'm a little lost right now not getting my 2 hrs & 36 minutes of space friendship.

Random picture spam: 1) Aurora Borealis from 2024 2) Solar Eclipse also 2024 3) Last night's sky above my house 4) Sundog the morning after the Aurora 2024

A shot of the Aurora Borealis behind my workplace in 2024. It's in shades of pink and purple & could only be seen by taking a photo using night sight settings on my Pixel cell phone. You can see a smattering of stars behind it.

A shot of the solar eclipse from 2024 as we were in the path of totality. The moon is almost totally covering the sun with a bright yellow circle around it's perimeter. It was very cloudy but you could still see it quite well. It was so weird hearing all the birds go silent when it got dark then start up again.

The sky above my house usually has the big Dipper above it in Spring/Summer while Fall/Winter it's Orion. It looked almost greenish due to the light pollution and there are bare trees framing the sky. I miss when you could see more stars.

Walked along the edge of the shoreline at the beach this morning, not quite a great idea due to how cold it was & I had forgotten to bring gloves. However I found 2 hag stones, some beach glass, & the adorable little rock that looks like it has 2 hearts on it.

On a white Kleenex tissue lays a small darkish gray rock that in the center looks like there are two hearts on it. One is a pale gray outlined with an almost white outline the other is black with the same outline. They appear to be naturally occurring in the rock's surface. Since the poster has been watching Project Hail Mary too much they imagine Grace would give this to Rocky for Adrian. 🩶🖤

Snack mix time again because I can't rein in my generosity. Used a ramen package to show how much I make. Generally less than a 1/6 is left for me. However it makes other people happy so worth sharing when everything is too much all the time & you don't know how much worse it'll get...

In it (along with 8 full sticks of unsalted melted butter mixed with 8 packets of Chex mix seasoning powder) are the following: Crispex cereal, Cheerios, Kix cereal, Quaker Oatmeal Brown Sugar Squares, Ultra thin pretzel sticks, Cheezits, Bugles, chow mein noodles, & dry roasted peanuts both honey nut & regular. Its shown in the full pan with a package for pork Maruchan ramen for scale. It would probably take 15 packs to cover the whole top of the pan.

The pan is shown from the side and is about 1 pork flavored Maruchan ramen package tall. It's a lot of snack mix which is mostly given away even though the poster keeps trying to not be overly generous.

And since it may be my last viewing figured I'd get a special treat that I haven't had since the late 90s as my one aunt lives in Cincinnati & being next door neighbors to Ohio has some perks such as having your grocery store stock Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip ice cream.

Made some "tea" roses for the former underling who I'm visiting tomorrow as they love tea. I hope that they like them. Teas are Bigelow Sapphire Bay (blue), Twinings green tea (green), Honeybush/Mandarin/Orange (orange & brown) & mango pineapple (yellow & red).
