Ash and Zan snuck away from a party to hang out in Ash's study. The captain of the guard isn't mad, just disappointed.

We first meet Zan as he saves Ash's ass from getting kidnapped. It's mostly to show he's a badass but it also shows he's someone who fights for people who can't. This was how they first met so Ash was a stranger to him.

We first meet Ash as he's trying to dress like a normal person to sneak out of the castle to to see a meteor storm. It's shows the romantic and slightly naïve side of Ash.

I took Druid outside again. I gave him some mud incase he got to hot. He seems to be really enjoying it so I'm hoping to be able to get him something bigger and give him more things to climb on like his indoor enclosure. Make it a real second home instead of a temp thing. #tortoise

After Ash's castle was attacked, he was put on a ship to escape. He gets dropped off at the halfing queendom to lay low while the ship goes back to see if it's safe to bring Ash back. Edited by @velvetjack.bsky.social

Ash and Zan both dress fancy. Ash kinda needs to be being the Prince, but he tries to keep his appearance up even while on the run. Just not as flashy. Zan has some expectation to look nice as a captain, but it also feels good for him. To him, looking nice is a bit of a symbol of how far he's come.
