1/2 Found this photo of the 2G ICE ammonia reformate genset test at Amogy's #amogyinc labs. 1) Glad to see a safety shower to rinse off any ammonia accidents. 2) Don't see any double-block-and-bleed valve setup (standard with fuel installations).

Correct. An accurate lifecycle analysis includes upstream and downstream, cradle-to-grave emissions. ⬇️My #jouleunlimited team did one in our EPA Renewable Fuels Standard application, which was approved: 85.1% lower LCA carbon intensity for our 4th-generation algal bioethanol than baseline gasoline
Totally different use cases: -Titan’s carbon fiber was a bespoke design, never pressure tested, and never certified by a safety agency. -Type IV CF tanks are mass-produced, with certified, pressure-tested designs. ⬇️Toyota Mirai H2 tanks don’t explode when hit by 50-caliber armor-piercing bullet
Periodic hydrostatic pressure testing of steel and aluminum tanks allows many decades of use. Hydro testing is not available for Type IV carbon fiber tanks, hence this problem…
