I’m so happy to see Star Wars not abandoning bonus features like most other physical media releases do nowadays. Can’t wait to dive into all of these!
Here’s a thread on Din Djarin’s arc in #TheMandalorianAndGrogu, and why he develops more as a character than most people think. Buckle up, it’s a long one🧵: (Spoilers ahead)
Happy 49th anniversary to the movie that started it all! One of the most revolutionary pieces of cinema ever created, and the cornerstone of my love for not just Star Wars, but movies in general. Can’t wait to celebrate the 50th anniversary next year!
I reached a flow state listening to this banger in the car last night after seeing the movie. Ludwig Göransson has done it once again!
The Mandalorian and Grogu was an absolute BLAST! I grinned from ear to ear throughout the entire movie. I couldn’t be happier right now.
Six and a half years later, and I’m FINALLY SEATED FOR A NEW THEATRICAL STAR WARS MOVIE!! See you on the other side🫡
Still not over this. I normally think Vader should be used sparingly, but this was a story where it just made so perfect sense to include him. Would love to see another confrontation between them in future seasons, and hopefully one where they’ll have more of a conversation.
Genuinely floored by the Shadow Lord finale. What an electric hour of television, felt like I held my breath the entire time. Seeing Maul, Devon and Daki fight side by side was incredible, those action sequences were out of this world. A fantastic ending to a near perfect season.
It’s May the 4th and Maul: Shadow Lord finale day!! It only felt natural to put on my Lucasfilm Animation 20th anniversary t-shirt, in honor of the immense talent behind this show. Gonna sit down and watch episodes now, beyond excited to see what they’ve cooked up for us!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Lucasfilm Animation NEVER disappoint me. Week after week they’re knocking it out of the park with Shadow Lord, and today’s episodes were no exception. Sam Witwer is absolutely killing it, and somehow making my heart break for Maul.
God the lighting in Shadow Lord is on another level. I thought the visuals in Bad Batch were the best we’d ever get from Lucasfilm Animation, but I guess was wrong.
Maul Shadow Lord just keeps upping the game with each new episode. I love how masterfully episode 5 and 6 keeps the tension going after last week’s episodes. And I’m sure next week’s episodes will do, the same given how 6 ends.
Hard to believe it’s already been a year since Star Wars Celebration Japan. I wish I could just turn back the clock and relive it all over again.
Phenomenal episodes of Shadow Lord today, my god. Only 4 episodes in and we’re already getting season finale level showdowns. The scenes between Maul and Devon had me leaning forward the entire time. Lawson continues to be the standout character for me. We’re eating GOOD.
As the Clone Wars art style continues to evolve, I’m noticing that elements of the Rebels art style is being fused into this new one. The Mandalorians in Shadow Lord for example have t-visors that look more like the ones in Rebels than the ones in TCW.
