Last evening in Belgrade. I'm not sad to leave: it's too busy for me. I would gladly return for something though. Postcards have been sent, icecream devoured, and a city of all the arts enjoyed.

Massive icecream. Yes I have tiny hands but this was a particularly humongous cone.

Reading the grounds in my Serbian coffee: it's a cup with the grounds of coffee in the bottom.

It was built in 1925 by the Donau Dampfschiffgesellschaft (of Austria). This is where our conference was and it was a great venue that actually worked for a conference! The people standing outside are fellow researchers.

Holiday/conference treats: last time I had a loaded waffle was at Sprinkles Gelato in Bournemouth (2016?) and that's got like 100000 views on Google XD

Thankyou for helping me not feel like a failure! It took me 8mths to draw our 'initial' Dragonlance party (2023). I scanned the lines to digital and recoloured it digitally for the final picture, so I had a beginning and end :) I have since managed to (digitally) draw everyone's character quickly :)

Groupie is a fey creature summoned by the spell 'Find Greater Steed' by my D&D5e bard Ythendria. His fey incarnation is the green one, celestial the blue and fiendish the red. Otto is not an OC, he's a faerie dragon NPC in the same campaign, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, but I wanted to do him justice.

Groupie's three incarnations: a blue celestial dragonnel, his usual green fey form, and a red fiendish form that saves his summoner's paramour... It is a quick coloured-pencil sketch on paper.

Height difference!

Me, a short white cis female (ish), looking up at my tall partner (a thin white cis male). I'm wearing a relatively short black dress and sandals, he's wearing a white shirt and black trousers with dress shoes and a dark green tie. We both wear glasses and have blonde hair, his is short and the top of his head is bald, mine is just over shoulder length. I have some visible tattoos on my left arm and he has really cool ginger sideburns. I don't look as overweight as I am ;P The top of my head comes to my partner's nipple level, pretty much. That's 16" of difference. We are laughing about something.

Ythendria likes it enough she eventually buys her own harness (yes that is my tattoo, artwork by @morgul.bsky.social, whose work on shibari inspired this whole thing). I suspect her pre-adventuring friends might have left her tied places when she was being annoying, but now she can teleport XD

I have to plan out a room/place to describe it properly XD Thankfully I have a degree that involved planning this sort of thing and I'm really good at it in PowerPoint! Here's one of my Trollskull Manor ones.

First #art of the year. Spent a few hours over a couple of days making Anastazia changeable, so lots of layers and things, and then smashed out the beastman in 30mins last night while sat on the floor watching some friends play the Battlestar Galactica boardgame in my house XD #drawing #ocart
