Thanks, he'll be ok with antibiotics 🤞🏼Told him I was going to go to Zante, he vehemently said not to. Once he got discharged we reverted to plan A and had an afternoon at the beach so I sent him this pic and said I'd arrived and on the way to his villa. He freaked out until he checked my location.
Today's harvest, so happy to have figs, but delighted with the purple peppers! #gardenSky #growYourOwn🌱
So excited that the fig glut is about to begin! I don't even mind that I forgot to pick the courgettes yesterday so have two massive zeppelins to find something to do with.
First year of university done ✅ but I've only had him home for three days before he's off again on a grand adventure. So excited for him, and a bit nervous. Had a huge grin as I dropped him at the station, but these parenting moments are bittersweet as he strides ever further away from me.
Saw this and 1st thought was that was a TERRIBLE run to be a milestone but I read where it says "800 times you could have skipped but didn't" for a run when it was still 33° as I left the house after sweating all day at work and feeling drained and actually it was the PERFECT run #runSky
And so it begins. I have three courgette plants. In three or four weeks I will be begging for new recipes but for now am delighted to be eating my first harvest of the year
Uh oh. I've got stuff to do but it's windy and the barley has reached just the right height to roll in the gusts so am stuck here watching it.
My dark pink ones are here too, earlier than usual and normally a reliable predictor of a solid week of hard rain to batter them into the ground...
Look at that sky! Catching the last of the rays on the patio it took us 15 years to build.
Our cabin on this ferry is right at the front, it's as exciting as when you get the front seat on the top of a double decker, or the front of a DLR train.
Visiting Den Haag today it felt important to come here and think about humans coming together in the name of peace
Same! We decided to come via Haarlem on our journey from Amsterdam to Lisse solely because of all your lovely photos!
Bit of parkrun tourism today, ran a pb, not quite a lifetime one but certainly a this-phase-of-life one. Rotterdam is lovely.
Absolutely fascinated by the fact that the "female" avatar with no skin used by the app I record my workouts on, showing which muscles were worked, apparently requires a bra. Not sure if that is to prevent suggested boobage being too titillating, or skinless boobs being too horrifying. #fitnessSky
I sort of love alchemilla mollis! I love the leaves but not so keen on the flowes
