9:35am radar shows some lught to steady showers over the Avalon. Heaviest are north of Placentia, through Colinet, and along the eastern side of St. Mary's Bay. Showers are moving northeast. #NLwx
8:17am radar: Widespread rain and a few thundershowers for western and central Newfoundland. Some rain on the go for the Burin Peninsula and some showers on the Avalon. Rainfall chances increase for eastern Nfld later this morning and afternoon. #NLwx

A blocking pattern setup this week for #NLwx. Western Nfld will continue to be warm with mid-upper 20s. Central cools by Tuesday, w/mid-upper teens to near 20° Eastern Nfld sees mid-upper teens. Occasional drizzle, showers & fog are expected for east & central as well.

2. Hot #NLwx for Labrador on Tuesday with mid-upper 20s, to near 30° (cooler on the coast). Nfld returns to the low-mid 20s for most. Wednesday brings upper 20s & low 30s to Labrador, while Nfld sees mid-upper 20s, to near 30° inland. Coastal areas remain cooler.
1. Temperatures will be cool across Nfld today with low teens/low double digits. Labrador will see upper teens to near 20° Warmth returns tomorrow for Nfld with upper teens & low 20s. Labrador begins to feel the heat with low to mid 20s (cooler for the coast). #NLwx
Some warm to hot temperatures for Newfoundland on Friday & Saturday. Temps will range from the low to mid 20s, with inland areas reaching the upper 20s. It will be muggy as well, with dew points in the mid-upper teens, to near 20°C. #NLwx

6:58pm radar: A line of thunderstorms is also stretching from the interior of Nfld through the Exploits Valley, bringing some thunderstorms to Badger, GFW & Bishop's Falls. Areas just to the east of the Exploits Valley are also seeing some thundershowers. #NLwx

A beautiful day ahead for Newfoundland on Tuesday. Plenty of sunshine, fairly light winds and temps in the low 20s. I won't be surprised if parts of central reach 25°C tomorrow. Areas along immediate southern & western coasts will be in the low doible digits. #NLwx
