I had been watching other people decorating their #PokemonTCG binders with some great art and thought it would be a cooler alternative to buying custom binders. I invested in some acrylic markers today, and I have to say, it was pretty fun! (Still need a coat or two more over the logo) ☺
What a crazy day. I found "I"... completed the Unown set! Plus found a shiny Tirtouga and shiny Axew. Plus I finished the Pass and got the Lucky Trinket and the Gold Bottle Cap. #PokemonGO #shinypokemon

I was able to reserve a slot and enter a Mega Mewtwo X battle. So now I have a mega level 1 Mega Mewtwo Y from NYC last night and a mega level 2 Mega Mewtwo X from Malaysia tonight. #PokemonGO

For the second time in my life, I got outbid on a good Gengar card. 😫 I should have honestly set a higher max bid. I was the only bid until literally the last second when I was outbid. Someday... On the plus side, I did win bids for a lot of Japanese #PokemonTCG cards and another older lot.
I'm always surprised when the card shop lets me buy old #PokemonTCG commons dirt cheap. I think it's partly because they have so many binders of them and want to clear space. I want to fill out my collection, so I don't mind commons. Especially if I can pick up a cute Phanpy 🥰

Haven't necessarily been having the greatest weekend, so I dropped by the card shop to cheer myself up. Found a nice assortment of older cards for $10. Some nice surprises in there. #PokemonTCG
I found out this morning that Carl was adopted yesterday! I am so happy for the boy. He really is sweet, and I hope he'll get over his anxiety issues. He deserves a loving home and friends. Good luck, buddy!
Carl's time as our foster dog ended today; he's now with a different foster family. He has issues to work out - separation anxiety, trouble interacting nicely with other pets, manic episodes - but he really is a sweet dog and I'll miss him. Hopefully he'll get help calming down then get adopted
I get it. The other day I walked in the grocery store to see a 7-year-old kid looking at the screen on a emptied-out Pokemon TCG vending machine. 🙁 The game used to be primarily for young kids. Now they're getting shut out by college-aged and middle-aged fanatics and scalpers.
