Behold my blueberry crop! We have one blueberry that has turned blue. Approximately 12 blueberries remain unripe. Hank for scale.
Scored some local Maine beans from a farm store. Soaked these and made a thick, rich soup, cooking them with tomatoes, shallots, lotsa garlic, and stock, finished with a handful of de-stemmed chopped kale and a good bit of citrus. We had beans with buttered sourdough toast on the deck, SO GOOD.

I want a project to practice hand stitching on while watching tv, so I’m glue-stick basting scrap fabric and some patches onto a free tote bag I want to upcycle, and then I’ll sew/quilt it all down over time.

Hank has some back teeth coming in and we have entered the Tiny Velociraptor stage. He’s good about playing in his pen when he gets this bitey, but the teething makes it harder for him to nap, poor lil guy.
Hank’s aunt came for a visit and he greeted her in traditional corgi fashion, with plenty of face bites

He does love cats — at the time we had his Lulu and Nanners. He is also incredibly allergic to cats 😂
I don’t know exactly what this is going to be, but there’s no reason to let that stop me from quilting it

Sewed my first pair of trousers today — pajama pants in this keyboard fabric. I used a pattern from the 100 Acts of Sewing book. The pattern was easy to follow and they are super comfy. #sewing
I have a fun corgi marker drawing to work on tho. Lately I’m super into paint pens on canvas paper
It takes Freyja around 20 minutes to do this one each day. You can both celebrate with her — if ever the world feels slightly more quiet, you know what’s going on.
