An interesting morning at Warwick University hearing presentations from the UK and further afield as part of the Salty Solutions project. Thank you to Liv, Alex and Joseph for representing our team (while Katie, Emma and Jonathan are on their Gold DofE expedition!).
Today we welcomed prospective Sixth Formers to our Orientation Day. Students experienced subject lessons and heard from staff and students about the range of additional opportunities available in the Sixth Form.
A lovely setting for some brilliant music from our Year 13 leavers and KERBB at the Summer Recital.
Thank you to Year 13 for a fun final day. All the best for your exams.
After a morning of team challenges it’s now on to the high ropes and crate stack for the prefects.
After a night under canvas the prefects are off on a morning of navigation and team challenges.
We had visitors yesterday from the charity, Anthony Nolan. They were here following last week's Sixth Form lecture about the work they do to help save the lives of people with blood cancer. Thank you to those who joined the donor register.
Tuesday is our Sixth Form Open Evening, starting at 6pm. We look forward to welcoming Year 11 students to find out more about being a sixth former.
Thank you to Martin Griffin from A Level Mindset for his insightful presentation to Year 12 this morning. Which activities will you include in your studies?
Thank you to H5 Adventure for facilitating our Year 12 team-building day with an array of activities for everyone to get involved in.
Today was a very warm Sixth Form Orientation Day. It was great to be able to welcome nearly 400 prospective students to the School and to give them a taste of Sixth Form life. We wish you all the very best for your GCSE results in August.
Another fantastic end of year concert, with a brilliant variety of music, amazing ensembles and truly wonderful solos. To the Year 13 leavers - thank YOU for the music!
A huge thank you to Dulcie and Jacob for their wonderful reading of ‘Seven Ages of Man’ from As You Like It at the official launch of ‘The Shakespeare Line’ this morning at Stratford-upon-Avon train station.
A beautiful afternoon at Buckingham Palace for some of our Year 13 students who were collecting their Gold DofE Awards. An amazing achievement to get it finished while still at school - well done to them all.
A brilliant way to end Year 13’s time in the Sixth Form. Thank you for your wide and varied contributions to school life and all the best for whatever your future holds.
Thank you to our outgoing prefect team for an enjoyable evening, and also for all your efforts over the past 12 months.
