Every two years,
the spiders of Eastnor Deer Park

o p e n
a l l
e i g h t
e y e s .

For five days they watch four thousand nerds build a village out of kindness, blinking lights, amazing ideas, capacitors, and, once, an orphaned radioactive source.

Then?

The humans vanish.

In the sudden quiet, the spiders sit,
nestled in the dry, forgotten grass,
digesting everything they have learned.

By next EMF they will be wiser, and also

I have officially finished GooseVenture and have handed the files over to the #EMFCamp arcade team. In this text-based adventure game you play as Name Namesley, a low-level employee at SoftBank, as they go on a quest to work out why the company's eggs aren't multiplying. Enioy!

Today would have been my nephew Sebastian's ninth birthday. We lost him to cancer in 2024 aged just six. He taught me so much in his short life - mainly to be brave no matter what life throws at you, and to sing no matter whether there's a stage to stand on. Love you, Seb. 🧡

I'm 22 pages into the deep lore of the Reality Quake universe, and at this point I might have to solve quantum physics and answer some fundamental questions about the nature of the universe before I can do any more work on books 2 and 3 in the series. Sorry.
