Having seen and either liked or loved every show on here except Rooster, I can say, unless Steve Carrel gives the performance of a lifetime, this is already Matthew Rhys’ Emmy. And that is not an insult on the performances I saw from Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Martin Short or Jason Segal.*

I don’t know much about the World Cup or soccer/futball in general. But I just caught the Injury time (5 minutes) of Cabo Verde holding on to achieve a Draw with Spain and it was effing thrilling. Very happy for that tiny island holding up against a Futball Power like Spain.

Buffy is one of my favorite tv shows because they combined clever writing to a charming cast & had two powerhouse thespians who could do anything and everything they were asked. Anthony Stewart Head was such a tremendous onscreen presence. I’m sorry he’s gone, but thankful for the work he gave us.

I just started Project Hail Mary last night, but I have a big drive coming up so I’m going to try to knock out Dune: Messiah on Audible. Wonder if my brain will handle the two separate stories or melt out of my ears? I’ll honestly just blame Dune. This one might be impenetrable as an audiobook.

Sunrise on the Reaping did its job. After reading the latest prequel, I couldn’t stop talking about Panem and my wife asked to rewatch The first movie. Anyway, a week later and we watched all four Katniss/Peeta movies and I am starting back in on the books.
