Just got Kira back home, after a full week of hospital stays (how did this week vanish so fast!) She started being ill and stopped eating on Monday, and has finally eaten some small meals today/sat. She is looking much brighter, so they wanted to see how she goes at home!
Haven't had time to work on anything this week with everything going on. So have a old dragon sketch that I made while testing out the Paint Storm program 4 years ago. (I need to test it again sometime.)
Picked up Kira and taking her to the city to be admitted in as a emergency for her further tests/endoscopy
Going have to take Kira back in. Super not herself walking around listlessly. Hasn't eaten all night since discharge and has been throwing up water still...this is gonna be a expensive vet bill, I think I will be using all my savings X_x already over 1k. But I need my baby feeling better

Absolutely hauled ass to get these two baby skeksis made in time to meet Simon Pegg tomorrow at supanova! Chamberlain is one of my favourite characters on screen forever! Better photos to come later :)
I decided to go down the super uggo route haha. Just pretty much a imagining of them when they still had more hair. Currently sculpting the limbs :)
Skeksis head all sculpted up :) MmmMmmm! I based it heavily off my fave guy Skeksil, but with some stylistic differences of course. As I wanted this to be a sksksis "hatchling" art doll (yes yes, not cannon. But fun!) He will have fluffy white down for a body, similar to that of a vulture chick!
I am always amused when people point out my work reminds them of The Dark Crystal (indeed it is my fave Movie ever made!) SO, I am working on a little something special :) WIP

My first tattoo! Done by the wonderful @wyrmheart.tattoo on insta who I HIGHLY recommend (seriously go check out their work ❤️). I requested a Austroraptor with barn owl elements, and he came out gorgeous!....Definately more dinos in the future for this arm haha.
For a actual example. Here's a painting I completed recently. When I started i mashed some of my own refs together (blocks shapes of the axes and a Marquette) and painted into it. This silly rule would disqualify a wirk i spent weeks painting. For a normal starting process that many use.
Using 3D model and personal photography resources is one if the most basic and classic forms of art tools out there. It was a common source of reference material we used when I worked in the animation industry. Here are some old examples from Disney. That rule needs to go, its very anti artist.

I kept seeing all these posts about how much people didn't liked the new Netflix movie "Swapped". I don't get the hate. Like sure the designs were a bit basic (but really nice imo). & the story was simple? But it was nowhere near as bad as I was lead to believe! I rather enjoyed it. It was cute! :)

I am currently going through my current WIP's that have been awaiting their photo snaps :) First up, Bluejay Kenku! While I will still have the normal raven variety available. I wanted to branch out and have some other bird species on offer! (More to come!) This will be a large, pose-able art doll!
