There is something therapeutic about taking off and replacing all the cars on the layout. I love finding ways to make it feel simultaneously random but organized in a way that makes sense.
Had a small side quest lately of helping turn this once 2D structure on my wife’s airport diorama into a 3D tunnel.
It’s not just trains and cars for me, I also enjoy things that are not always on the ground!

For anyone interested in this saga, it thankfully was as simple as somehow one of the joiners slipped off one of the rails. It lives!
I may have to try that. I believe the power cuts off at the joiners for that corner (where there are no ties)
I fear this corner of my streetcar may have died. This was the best running spot for a while (because it was easy to clean) but now it’s refusing to run with no amount of cleaning getting it to run :( I hope it isn’t the track. If it is, it’s done for good.
