Batman 127 was re-released in facsimile form this week, which gave me a reason ta read it, an' boy is it a doozy a' Silver Age fun! But seriously, why'd they just let a super-powered Alfred blunder around? Why didn't they train him? What's yer favorite classic Batman story an' why? 1/3

In comic book panels a man dressed in a full-body eagle costume appears in the Batcave. He says, "Forgive the intrusion, but I am The Eagle, a new superhero, and I seek to join you! It's got Galaxy and Hawkgirl in it, so it's still a Pride month post! This is my standard response. We ain't space cops. We're worse 'n space cops. But Green Lantern is still great, fer the same reason Batman an' Superman are great - suspension a' disbelief.
