I am the King of Cats. My mum Sam posts about me, law, cooking, politics, and anything else that interests her. Sam is a trustee at Commonside, a charity serving the community of Pollard's Hill, SW London
Super-quick trip to the vet. Lucy is very well for an older gentleman (13) - fatter than he should be by 3-400g but we can easily deal with that. He is still just under 5kg. And his cat acne has cleared up well. The King thanks his loyal subjects for their help in making this happen. 🐈⬛
Internet question: I need to arrange internet at the new place. I have never done it before. This is what is currently installed in the room. What else is needed to connect a box ?
No worries. it is an easy mistake to make. My fault for giving him a girl's name. To be fair, he is incredibly pretty ......

From a global perspective, it has been one of the worst weeks of my life. So, here is Lucy to make everything a little bit better.

For Sth West London residents: Here are the details of the Commonside Christmas Fayre and Light Show in Pollard's Hill. Bring the kids along. The Mitcham Zoo bring animals and reptiles which the kids love. Refreshments and food available.
Dad is incredibly spritely. Here he is on his 90th ! I get the whole 'armology' thing - I struggle with my left arm post mastectomy too.
Croydon Peeps: If you are interested in Green initiatives/groups etc, this event is on this Wed evening at the Spread Eagle pub, just by the library and clocktower.
On a day much hotter than this, I swam out to this island at Lake Bled. Ir was technically illegal but I was so hot that I really needed to get into the water.
Floofy cats are the best. My Lucy is a ball of fluff. At this time of year, it can be a bit of a trial as clumps of fur are left all over the house........
And here is Dad with my sister, BIL and nephews. We are all Amazons - my sister is 5'11 and is wearing high heels. The boys are still taller than her.
This is my Dad on his 90th birthday doing has favourite thing - eating great food in a restaurant.
For new followers since I moved to this place, this cat is a member of the Tory Party (I am not joking - he really is. He spoilt his ballot in the leadership election). I hate the Tories so it is the one source of tension between us.
