Passing this GeoJSON file to the ESA WorldCover API I released last month I find that of the area visible from my rooftop, 42% is tree cover, 43% is built-up. and around 9% is permanent water (Wellington harbour in this case!).
An example of its output, the viewshed from my rooftop on Austin Street in Wellington. This was produced by the API as a 100kb GeoJSON file in a fraction of a second.
And finally the hanging process. M5x38mm x2 for the eye plate on the panels, M6x50mm x4 into the ceiling. Impact driver got a real workout on these, it's rimu sarking above the gib.

Continued on with a long-planned upgrade to our downstairs flat's living room: acoustic panels. It's a massive room 20+ sqm and has 3m+ ceilings, so it's always been pretty loud. Finished photos here.
