Me, me, me! Look at me! I’ll grab the headlines and make it about me! Not about a community grieving. I used to run an airline. And I’m sorted.
The word ‘bounce‘ is interesting here. ‘To move quickly back up’. Nope. I’m think more ‘very old tennis ball’. Some upward motion but sad and slow. A shadow of its former self. RNZ -bounce? 🤣
This doesn’t look healthy to me. but Willis would just say I was ‘a merchant of misery’. Nice alliteration. Shame her degree wasn’t in economics.
Hey Chch peeps. If you are sick - it’s likely Covid. Stay home. Drink lotsa fluids. Don’t be one of the people who get pneumonia when they think they’re over it. Maybe even wear a mask?

Delicious stollen from Vic’s Bakehouse (Ferrymead) in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Very generous marzipan and lots of dried fruits. Utterly sticky and delicious.
Lunch is nearly ready. Ribeye steak and sausages are on the BBQ. Canterbury Day.
Today’s Greek salad. Trying out the award winning EVO from Telegraph Hill.
I dread to think what Maya Angelou would have said about the current US situation.
