I keep repairing their snake. (It’s felted, so I can fix it when they destroy it, up to a point.)

Another inspiration for this work may have been the memory of how, when she and her sister were kittens, they used to be able to sleep *inside* my slippers.

I have to keep a stuffed animal sitting on my CPAP or this adorable monster will sit on it and accidentally turn it off.
