Whether it was on the team bus, or on his own, late-nights or early-morning drives, Bains has experienced high highs and low ebbs in his hockey career – and he would do it all again.

And then there’s Arshdeep Bains — a Surrey-born lad, a chap growing up in the richness that is the lower mainland (as a Sikh, as a winger). He knows these roads well, from Abbotsford to Vancouver and throughout the Prairies.
