The Leaderfoot Viaduct, near Melrose in the south of Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This bridge formerly formed part of the old Waverley Line, a train line which used to connect Edinburgh with Carlisle - Melrose being one of the stops on the route which has preserved the old station platform. #BlueskyArtShow #curve

A tall viaduct spans across the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. The bridge, known as the Leaderfoot Viaduct, appears to be built largely from red brick and has many curved arches. Two of the railway arches on the far left nicely frame individual trees. On one bank (left) is a green, gently sloping hillside, and the other side is packed with a dense green tree canopy. The sky is bright, with patches of white cloud and hints of blue.

This week I've been decorating my hallway - spent a large chunk of today carefully removing a whole load of masking tape (the hall has a slightly ridiculous number of doorways + fixtures!). Took a while, but worth it for those nice clean, #sharp lines! 💚 #BlueskyArtShow

🌸 Good morning 🌸 Yesterday I embarked on a 100 day project, with the aim of working on a zine page for the next 100 days, and hopefully having some completed zines by the end of it! Here's Day 1, a mixed media piece inspired by one of my fave flowers and #Bloomscrolling #100DaysProjectScotland

The lovingly-restored 19th century Ross Fountain in Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens. Until today, I hadn't realised it was made from cast iron! Always lovely to see it working, especially so on a gorgeous sunny day. #BlueskyArtShow #Tall #Edinburgh

A public park, Bank Street Gardens in Galashiels (in the Scottish Borders) in May. The green grass is covered in pink petals shed by the cherry trees heavy with blossom. It looks like confetti or pink snow. In the park are old-fashioned street lamps and vintage-style wooden benches with decorative metalwork, lending the scene an old-fashioned charm.

I don't often talk about my mental health here, but I've been struggling recently with anxiety & feeling pretty overwhelmed.
