And speaking of fiber--I've been dyeing a lot of new fiber to take with me to my pop up event at Spun Ann Arbor this coming weekend. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there! If you can't make it to the event, I do have some fiber that I quietly put into the shop last week. 🧶🧶🧶

Spinners, how's your Tour been? I have been doing some spinning myself when I have a few minutes and it's been doing wonders for my nervous system. I mostly spin braids that have seen better days or are mess-ups in the dyeing process-- These are BFL/Silk and Polwarth/Silk. 🧶🧶

Taking a quick break from loading the car to admire my new WIP. I’m determined to use up a lot of leftovers in this Old Shale blanket. Loving the way the colors are flowing so far. Yarns are being held double. Since the balls are different amounts, colors are added randomly. See you tomorrow! 🧶🧶🧶

It's a big shipping day over here today! Murmuration and Dolly's Coat of Many Colors are heading out. In my down time, I'm working on a #Marettimo with Dolly's colorway and Raspberry Leaf Tea for the CC. So far, I'm loving how it looks. 🧶🧶🧶

Hi! I'm puttering around here trying to get things back in order after MDSW, but I did manage to get Murmuration and Dolly's Coat of Many Colors pre-order listings in the shop for those who couldn't make it to MDSW or Nash Yarn Fest. 🧶🧶🧶

Murmuration colorway is a rich jewel toned colorway of teals, turquoise, green, bits of rose and purple.

Dolly's Coat of Many Colors is a combination of raspberry with gold, orange, blue, green.

My next new sample for MDSW is the amazing Fiona sweater by Vicky Chan! I used Mochi DK for it and love how it looks and feels knit up this way. The pattern is very well written and easy to follow. I highly recommend. 🧶🧶🧶 I used Silver Lining as the MC and Marshmallow as the CC.

Hi! It's almost time for MDSW! Today is my last dyeing day to prepare for it and then it's twisting/labeling, packing & getting everything organized for setup on Friday. My first new sample for the show is New Terrain from Yamagata. 🧶🧶🧶 I use two strands of my silk/linen yarn, Smoothie Fingering. 1/

Seeing Buddy Guy show up at the Oscars in leather overalls and his trademark polka dots made me really happy. We were able to see him and Kingfish perform last summer and it was a night of pure joy.

Obsessed with the texture in this WIP. I’m holding two strands of Smoothie Fingering (a gorgeous silk and linen blend yarn) together for this amazing marled top. The pattern is New Terrain Tee by Yamagara. 🧶🧶🧶
