Had a great day-trip down to Portland to get trained for Cascade Pika Watch at the Oregon Zoo. It's a volunteer group that goes out into the Cascades to document/survey Cascade Pikas. Also got to hit up Powell's Books and Face Plant vegan drive thru (DELICIOUS). Portland, you're a gem!
Spring is coming and the yard shall provide! This season we're growing: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, albino blackberries, potatoes, asparagus, sugar snap peas, pink lady and granny smith apples, plums, cherries, chestnuts, grapes, tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, & garlic as well as eggs
The choice for the Michael movie to advertise on this story is certainly an interesting one.
