This investment can only end well. (a friend taught me to play last weekend and the FF link was enough to make me jump)
Combat doesn't have much depth beyond the first hour and some of the new content is awkwardly implemented, but otherwise it's hard not to be impressed by how lovely this remaster looks and how fun its world is to explore. Its relative simplicity compared to giants like Shadows is oddly refreshing.
BTS gig in London tomorrow and I'm confident I know at least five songs... (mainly going for my superfan sister who is probably gonna lose her mind ❤️)
I found some of the FF9 anniversary keychains in a local shop and immediately bought too many of them.
I’ve moved onto Final Fantasy X-2 and I know it’s all cutesy pop and an extreme tonal shift, but I also love that after Yuna has spent her entire life being lied to by a false religion she can let go and figure that it the woman she wants to be. Let go, have fun, and deal with loss by having fun ❤️
My parents are away on holiday for the week so I’m back home looking after Dumb and Dumber over here.
It's funny being slightly tuned out of the First Light culture war because apparently we're responsible for all of the woke stuff it definitely has. Like WHAT DID I DO?!
That’s a wrap on 007: First Light. A delight from beginning to end with IO firing on all cylinders. I was worried that the stealth risked being watered down to fit the blockbuster format but it works so, so well. Also Bond is really cute ✨
