Another day, another GOTV door knocking for @abdulelsayed.bsky.social and @donavanmckinney.bsky.social . Even got to drop off a yard sign!
Just wrapping up knocking doors for @abdulelsayed.bsky.social and @donavanmckinney.bsky.social here in Taylor, Michigan! We need representation that focuses on the needs of Michiganders, healthcare for all, safe and accessible food, housing, good paying jobs, and saying no to corporate interests!
Just got back from dropping off my ballot. Make sure if you still have your absentee ballot to drop it off and not mail it, as it may not get to your clerk's office in time.
Keeping busy this primary knocking for champions of the people! If you are in their districts, please consider voting for Erin Brynes for State Senator and Joanna Whaley for State Rep!
Supporting a local business for lunch. Wife has been craving hibachi, so she gets hibachi. Lol
A few years into my Native Garden patch, still no Monarchs yet, but at least it's mostly self-sustaining. Just saw my first Swallowtail of the season tho!
Campaign season is in full swing in Michigan with absentee ballots hitting mailboxes. Just doing my part to get real fighters elected!
Back at it again, knocking doors to get real champions of the people elected in Michigan. And yes, that is a church behind me. Lol
Did someone ask for donuts and historic reenactment? because if so, both are in Taylor!
Helped out the Taylor Veterans Museum and the Taylor Historical Society put out some American Flags for our deceased veterans gravesites here in our local cemeteries. Rounded that out with some Yum Yum Donuts to regain my burned calories 😂
I'm always happy to see my bushes and trees being used as shelter by animals. This robin was enjoying a puddle from the recent rainfall.
I have ~1000 accounts I follow, and they think I ran out of content in 3 minutes of scrolling? lol No thanks on forcing the discover feed on me.
Today I volunteered with the Taylor Historical Society as we facilitated field trips to our historic structures. They got to visit a school house, a farm house, and a replica train station.
Time to grow some plants. You too can grow a survival garden for relatively cheap.
In Detroit for the Michigan Democratic Convention. Doing my part to support great candidates like Eli Savit for Attorney General and meet with like-minded people doing the good work across the state.
As someone who worked midnights at a 711 in Dearborn for years, I'm glad the cafes are picking up on how popular taquitos are around here. 😂
Wife and I went to the @bbnomula.bsky.social show tonight in Detroit. Dude puts on a great show and I got a Banjo Kazooie reference in 2026 😎
Full room in Garden City, MI this evening as supporters from all over the state showed up to support state Rep. Dylan Wegela's reelection campaign. Biggest speaker of note tonight being Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
Enjoyed visiting the Henry Ford Museum's limited run Da Vinci exhibit yesterday.
Motown museum guided tour was fun and quick. Excited to see what they'll do with their expansion project.
