This place isn’t owned by a megalomaniac? Good.
We survived. Reilly was upset most of the night but he’s recovered. Woke up to a lot of leaves and branches blown hither and yon, and the drone of phalanxes of mosquitoes. Fun times.
Love it! My brother and I decided to industrialize the process while on vacation fifteen years ago. This is the result: A recipe that uses the best local dark rum, makes a full pitcher and tastes better if you let it sit in the fridge a few hours before serving.
Fyi, when I say “their kits are trash”, I mean Nike kits. The shaping in the shoulders is unsightly, and the kind of crap they came up with for Canada’s national team is hot garbage.
Reilly had to wear a onesie when he got the snip, and was so high off the drugs that he moped around most of the night. The next morning, he staged a rebellion.
Let’s hear from Alberta’s fattest separatist, a man who got rich off of representing First Nations before the courts, opine that those same Indigenous groups got their money from <scare quotes> THE JEWS. If he’s that concerned, maybe he should give his former clients’ fees back.
I’m pretty sure the age description on the boxes is just to make me feel better
Yes, but only if you are prepared to fetch the ball because Reilly is not
Cavaliers are attached to their people. This guy falls asleep next to me; I wake up and he’s pushing me off the bed; and he demands my attention for belly rubs and playtime. And when I work from home, he sleeps under my desk.
Reilly turned 5 at the end of April, has definitely entered his “old man with no fucks left to give” stage
💯 here for this as a recurring bit, btw. Not as good as Brick Johnson but still a good fit for our current MAHA lunacy.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve done this. It’s a little embarrassing, but I don’t care as much about that as I do my sleepy little bear (who always looks like he’s suffering from the malaise brought on by a mid-life crisis).
Pros: Loved the filling. Ground ginger really goes well with Granny Smith apples. Crust wasn’t bad either! Cons: A bit singed. Crust called for an egg bath which I should have done. Filling didn’t boil over; too dry? Aftermath: Baking a pie for dinner at my mother’s means leftover pie. Uh-oh.
Happy belated Pi Day! I need help with my braiding. Crust got a bit scorched; using a gas oven to bake with for the first time so I’m not expecting perfection. Maybe needed a bit more lard? Oh well.
Mum’s dog cosplays Goldie Maier; mum and the boys; Reilly near the end of the treat parade; Reilly at rest, contemplating the meaning of life
