Just read this graphic novel, and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended 🙌

Finally made it Hearst Castle, and it’s full of pretty crazy things, but I think this Roman bath was my favorite room. They are currently renovating the cork ceiling (which is why it looks funky here).

Some cool witchy-looking driftwood sculptures we ran into. The beach had SO much driftwood, it was pretty wild to see.

Here are some moments from MAM in CDMX… but honestly, please just go spend time looking up the art of Remedios Varo. I had never heard of her, but after seeing her work in a special exhibit there, she instantly became one of my favorite artists ever. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remedio...

The Friday Kahlo museum absolutely charms, then enchants, and then hits you with a deep sense of mortality. At least it did for me. I’ve been a fan of her work, but there was something so much more magical and intimate about the space she was born and died than I ever expected.

This was a fun one to shoot. Definitely got blasted by the sun, but it seemed appropriate at the pyramid of the sun at #teotihuacan

Next up is a real treat. Sit back, and take a relaxing ride on the calm boat ride through ancient #Xochimilco canals. 😌💖

Museo Nacional de Antropología, is a top-five museum that I’ve ever visited. These shots are on the massive courtyard that takes you to each subsection, and keeps you oriented with a gravity defying ceiling/pillar structure.

Is this the most intense mask I’ve ever seen? Definitely a top contender, sheesh…

This photo doesn’t look like much. It’s just the top of a neighboring tree during the overcast rain, but it’s just a tiny piece of garden and showing a subset of the bush of robins right now. It’s DOZENS of them all in our back yard and I’ve never seen anything like it.
