You guys -- I put a post about homelessness on my FB, and this is how my aunt replied. She's so lovely, I could cry. ❤️❤️❤️
My husband and I both have massive crushes on her. She's just so damn *womanly,* in a way that reminds me of Old Hollywood.
Yeah, it's really bad. They've evacuated surrounding buildings, and there are fire teams coming from all over.
I'm so sorry, Mandy. Eff cancer straight to hell. Here are some puppy pictures to hopefully bring a bit of brightness to a shitty day.
My only must haves were a pretty dress, a pretty venue, and a *really* good photographer. I got the dress on eBay, we did the whole thing in Central Park, and we did it on a Tuesday, so the photographer was happy to squeeze in an inexpensive 2-hour shoot. Everything else was cheap and cheerful.
"Look at your reflection in the mirror. You're a creature of the night, Michael, just like out of a comic book!"
The eldest's birthday present from us arrived today, and holy shit is it *ever* cool.
Add Matthew Sweet's "Girlfriend" and R.E.M's "Out of Time" to this image, and you had the regular rotation in my 1990 Geo Storm's cassette deck. 1991 was *ridiculous* for music.
He *gleefully* fucked over massive swaths of people, a great many of whom will now die because of his actions. He deserves no sympathy whatsoever.
My local plant nursery had their garden walk today and it was just adorable.
Halifax is built on a steep-ass hill, and they have these monstrosities. (We also used to have rickshaws, pulled by local college athletes mostly.)
The look your cousins give you at Thanksgiving dinner when you're all laughing at the family dipshit.
Your regular reminder that even reliably conservative, rural regions have large pockets of liberal and progressive voters ... and are worth fighting for.
So Tesla's "self-driving" cars need a remote operator to make sure things don't go badly. Feels like this has already been done, guys.
She's Princess. She came with the name, so we decided not to change it. Poor little girl was a street dog and pregnant with ten pups when they brought her in. She fostered until the pups weaned and were all adopted out, including her runt, Potato. (He has macrophagia and has to eat upright.)
Took this last time I was there. I've been 5 times now, and am really hoping to bring the family someday. Fingers crossed.
