I am getting ready to plant lettuce in my summer garden. I’ve only ever grown lettuce in spring & fall. With Atlanta temps, it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m using pots so I can give them morning sun and afternoon shade. Fingers crossed! 🤞🌱

Here are just two things I saw at H Mart today 😊 Btw, if there’s an H Mart near you, I totally recommend getting the membership. I save so much money w/ it. Today (and on other visits) I bought a 15 lb bag of rice for $12 w/ the member card.

Seeing Joon’s cards made me want to share some of mine. These are all more recent (from about 2013-26), w/ some faves (like all of the holo & full art cards). Our older Pokémon cards are mostly sleeved & in my teen’s room. I’ll try to take pics of them later. We’ve been collecting since around 2000.

Our weekly community farmers market opened today, and it was so nice to get out there first thing in the morning and meet people and buy yummy stuff 🌸💗 Our favorite peach vendors were there again this year, so I guess I’ll be making peach cobbler later today 🥧

I love when my work and my outside life come together. I did some Namjooning this morning as I covered a local Secret Garden Tour. Lovely home gardens (each with live acoustic music and artists onsite for the event) and perfect, cloudy/cool weather was a great way to start the weekend. 💜🌸

On my Tomodachi Life, BTS members are getting to know each other (I listed them as real-life brothers, so no romance) Now JK and Jimin are the first two to move into BTS House (I’m still making the others). And they just took a trip to Hawaii together, which felt like an ep. of “Are You Sure?!” 😊💜

I went out today and grabbed this vinyl 💜 I don’t shop at Target anymore, but made the exception in this case because 1. It was the only place near me w/ this cover 2. If I’m going to buy anything from Target it’s going to be something that checks the boxes for diversity, equity & inclusion.

Made my favorite kimchi tofu stew for lunch 😋 I’m the only one here that likes it, so I ate the whole (two-serving) pot 🫣🙃

The sun is finally out and it’s back up to 50F degrees, so I treated myself to an outdoor lunch at Kimchi Red 😋 Everything was so good 💜 It was just the break I needed!

We were in the “expect 3in. of snow” zone. Today, it’s a no-snow zone, though it’s falling to the east/west of us. So disappointing 🙁 If it’s going to be this cold, I’d at least like some snow to look at. Also, local news hyped the heck out of this “winter storm” for days & it’s nothing. Just cold.

Starting a new journal today with a lovely Kiki version that I got for Christmas. The pink pen and the peach & tea hand cream were also gifts. The pen writes so smoothly and the lotion smells amazing. (Highly recommend it!)

Now that my youngest is a teen, we don’t do early morning Christmas. So, I’m still waiting for everyone to wake up to open gifts. I did already get one gift I love though (from my MIL): a dolsot pot! I’m going to use it to make kimchi stew for my lunch today🎄😋
