I don't know how much this links to Ron MacLean's comments Sunday night, but: After 74 years on TV and having premiered on CBC Radio in 1931, Hockey Night in Canada is leaving CBC effective immediately. I think the Finals next year will be on City TV. I mean SOMEONE has to show them free to air.
