My new felt Birthday crown and Fairy crowns for my craft fairs. It’s not my pattern but I’m grateful to be able to sell them.
We’ve been waiting our entire lives to hear his music, music our parents loved and they passed that love into us. #illayaraja #illayarajamusic #illayarajasongs
This is my camp name and this is my shirt I reversed appliquéd by hand. I love this method. Yes, it’s after River Song 💙
My Dad loved potato chips and a good chocolate croissant ♥️ I added payasum, oatmeal cookies and an orange to the mix. Miss you Appa. Hope his spirit is happy with my offerings.
We took our Dad off life support 4 yrs ago on this date. The ultimate sacrifice of love is letting someone go and I know we did the right thing. Hope you’re enjoying the cosmos Appa and traveling and learning amazing things.
I usually don’t collect Coca-Cola glasses, but these are just too unique to pass up.
Happy Adoption day to my bebes, Luna and Artemis. Human kids who??? They suck honestly. Not like you two- who snuggle and follow mommy on command. The human kids would never …year 6♥️♥️
It’s been 4 years since the car accident. I consider this day, the day they both died since we never spoke to my dad ever again. I hope they like my offerings of the flowers that grew in my garden and payasam. The gift they left was my sister as we are each other’s strength and we come from them.
We saw Supergirl last night and I loved it. I loved the comic it was based on and I love where we meet her in the movie and why she’s damaged parts. That part struck close to home having lost my own parents in tragic ways. Milly Alcock did a great job showing that pain and anguish.
We had a wonderful time celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Smithsonian African American Museum opening. This celebration was for Charter Members of the museum.
So, I went in for a trim and she cut half my hair! I spent Friday morning crying because I love my long hair. I haven’t had short hair in over 16 yrs. But a few hours later, it’s growing on me. I feel like an 80s villain 😅
The ONLY thing I wanted this trip. We were lucky the line wasn’t around the block at the NBA store.
My gifts my kid got me from Japan! I love the Anello handbag and the Onitsuka Tiger sneakers.
I’m so grateful for my parents for exposing me to his films. Tamil Nadu has lots one of its best directors and a national treasure.
My quilting guild had a patriotic dress contest and so I bought some blankets from the thrift store and made this skirt. I didn’t win but I have this pretty skirt that I love so that’s my prize!
No one comes close to David Suchet but I’m exited for this version of Poirot.
I’m having insomnia due to my steroids after surgery so I made this shirt. It’s scrappy quilty Americana to me. The more it frays, the better I like it. It’s for my quilting guild end of the year party.
Had my surgery yesterday to fix my deviated septum and to remove massive polyps from my nose. Grateful for my wonderful husband @comicsinthega.bsky.social for taking care of me and my vanilla milkshake addiction. Also my boy, who hasn’t left my side.
I gasped when i found these for my daughter at Goodwill today along with this Tervis Wonder Woman cup for my husband. Only $2 each!
A friend gave me a bunch of patriotic scraps and I do what quilters do best- make them into quilts or in this case- quilted ornaments.
My mom loved Peonies and had a lot of them in her garden. I never knew I had a plant growing outside my house until 2023, ( nothing grew on that spot since we moved in here in 2015) it only started blooming the summer after she was killed and has been blooming ever since.
He’s staring at me like my husband does when he thinks I’m hiding something … @comicsinthega.bsky.social
