“But aren’t the Avengers movies exactly that?” 1) every single hero crosses over with other movies at some point and we are never without them in some capacity for years on end. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” type beat. 2) I don’t see no damn spark sqibs exploding on Iron Man
Shout outs to @iiotenki.bsky.social and my copy of Amigami keeping my disks snug while I prep for this move
No Marvel movie will match the hype of a given Kamen Rider crossover movie because they have never understood the core joy of your favorite guy yelling his catchphrase and getting a cool fight scene in a parking lot.
Beyblade X is just, straight up, a really exciting and enjoyable sports Shonen manga. Multi is an icon, and the action is really diverse for a series I had not given its due. Very fun read.

His bit in Conan where he says a prayer to Chrom and says “Grant me revenge, and if you do not listen? To hell with you.” goes beast mode. It’s just a great bit of acting.
In a lot of ways that originals slapdash and unfocused nature is part of what has given GitS it’s plasticity- it’s hard to think of another series who’s defining feature is how moldable the material is. This is all the same character, and all of these interpretations are legitimate.
Looks like you fell victim to GBVSR’s system of throw invulnerability in the first frames of wake up. You gotta stagger throws in this game if you do it on wake up, but generally you wanna avoid the option altogether. Trust me, I’ve been playing for a few years now- this shit still throws me off.
Extremely funny how Disney has struggled for years attempting to make a Blade movie when ArcSys understood that the assignment is: Step 1) make Blade the coolest motherfucker on the planet Step 2) Refer to step 1
