Artist comments: I feel like I'm showing my age anytime I draw neopets stuff but it was a big influence on me growing up. I don't remember when I exactly stopped playing the game but it was over a decade later when I was finally able to log into my childhood account. Last October, to be exact. In a couple months, I completed everything I wanted to do that I wasn't able to back then. I don't know if I will continue to play it- I might draw more fanart but it was fun while it lasted.

- prefers to use illusions because their actual magic is weak (feels insecure about it)
- can also use powers on fruits but they usually end up turning into apples

Comments: I was stuck on the design and name for the longest time and initially wasn't going to make an apple bunny as part of the bunny squad. But I finally got around to it. Apples make me think of the apple visualization test. I think mine is not very strong. Apples aren't my favorite fruit but the sheer amount of varieties that exist is quite impressive. Apples to Apples was one of my favorite card games. Anyways, there's 2 or maybe 3 bunnies left.

Completed her ref! I want to design a bunch of kobolds now,, I tend to avoid complex patterns but I gave it a shot. I do like her palette though, as it contrasts with her trying to appear tough

Character ref of my kobold oc.

Text: Coral the Kobold.
[likes]: collecting, building contraptions, fighting
[dislikes]: rules, heights, dragons
- tiny fork on tongue
- oval with triangle inside
- small spots can be random but they're in rows
- new stickers, scribbles, nails are constantly being added (can be random)
- always wears some form of accessory (usually discarded junk)
- has a teardrop-shaped tail
- tapered at the ends
- Calls it her Pain Stick [baseball bat]

Notes: I tend to avoid complex patterns but it was a bit unavoidable, being inspired by a leopard gecko and some leopard traits. She's named Coral because the orange gradient of her tail reminded me of the nautilus shell.
