The past few days, my Farmer has been mowing grass. It needs to be fully dry to make Silage ( grass that pickles in its own juice). Today they are out with the chopper, lifting grass, chopping & transfering to trailers all whilst moving. Very long hours today.

ITV news asked Starmer a week ago if the public should expect food & fuel shortages this Summer. Starmer claimed to be “on it!” I pointed out that the Govt has not been talking to Farmers. So aren’t “on it!” The UK Farming industry provide 60% of British food. Yet we have this today.
And this…. The Govt say that they are “on it” when asked about the prospect of Food & Fuel shortages this Summer on ITV. I can say confidently. The Govt are doing nothing to prevent food shortages. They are not “on it”. However, Farmers are doing their best to get the crops into the ground #Food
