I do truly love the Scottish people. My Mother had a quarter in her dna. I would move there in a heartbeat if they ever declare independence, and I'm happy, albeit fascinated, with their amazement at discovering Waffle House; but not in this lifetime will I go near an IrnBru again. rusty nails.
A red-shafted Northern Flicker, female. Words I never said when I lived in New Orleans.
It was Redwinged Blackbird evening in the marsh. I've never caught one in flight before. Colorful creature.

It's a great night for local telly covering women's sports. I'm wearing out the reverse button on the remote. #portlandfire #portlandthorns
She died in a house fire in 1962 and though I wasn't able to get to know her, I will never forget her. I think my Dad and brother both resembled her. Perhaps some day, we'll all meet up again, somewhere past the horizon, converse in French, and get reacquainted. Her name was Anne. #familymemories
Today's weather was truly stunning. I needed the VitaminD exposure badly but, simultaneous exposure to birch pollen is not a fair trade off. I loathe allergies. Hope your Sunday was beautful as well! l-r: barn in a field; Golden Crown Sparrow (immature); Woodhouse ScrubJay (adult)
Sun setting last evening, amidst pink cotton clouds. So beautiful. Thank you, Mom Nature.
