We're doing the same - hanging out indoors in the a/c with very short trips to the backyard. Sally is bored but on the bright side, the doggy ibuprofen is helping her arthritis flare-up.

I put Flip down on 5/20. He was doing well on chemo til he got an infection he couldn't fight off. No more chewed sneakers or socks that I didn't put out of reach. No more shredded cardboard to pick up after he'd stolen it from the recycling. No more howls to greet me when I come home. I hate it.💔
They sure don't. I put Flip down Wednesday 5/20, the day he was to get his 3rd chemo treatment for lymphoma. He was 11+ yoa and got an infection that he couldn't fight off. I adopted him in 2014 when I worked at what'd become a very toxic job. He's the one who saved me.💔
My Sally hates all fans, but never fails to lie down right in front of, or underneath, any a/c vent. Go figure.🤷🏼♀️ Remember when we thought the snow was never-ending? Sally loved it.⬇️
At 1 yo, she was picked up at a hoarding house by the humane society and local rescues, along with 50+ other dogs and a half-dozen cats. She'd never worn a collar, never been leashed, and had never been outside.

Uncle Morty must be related to my brother. Only stuff with essential oils eliminates the stank after - and nothing does it ahead of time unless it's something like Poo Pourri. This is pricey, but I get it online cheaper than at Acme or Stop & Shop:
Flip and Sally, after their annual teeth cleaning. Flip came out of the anesthesia fast and wouldn't stop barking at the vet's so they came home a little early. Poor Sally didn't know which end was up.😄
